Well it’s been a long time but I’m still here! The Footwear Expo is just awesome and I hope you’re all enjoying the incredible creativity of SL shoe designers as much as I am. Of course, (Angels) has a booth at the Expo

And today, at 12noon SLT, is going to be an awesome Runway Show focused on footwear and I’m so proud that some of my designs have been chosen, alongside some truly great names like Paper Couture, Adam n Eve, Maitreya and many others.

The Fashion Show JM Models put together for us on Friday went absolutely flawlessly and was great fun! Jewell and Kandiecain and the girls all did magnificently. We had a great host in Gunthor Allen who cracked jokes to help us all relax before the start and then did a wonderful job as our announcer. I did not fall off the stage or walk into Connie and even managed to say something reasonably coherent at the end, so all that rehearsal paid off! Thank you ALL so much for making this such a great experience for us.

I also got a very cool gallery plugin working so if you click here or on the “Designs” link above, you will be able to look through pics of all my current designs either as a slideshow or as a picture list from which you can click and see larger close-ups. I will eventually get this linked to my OnRez store and put all my designs there, so you’ll be able to get gifts for example by going through this site or direct to OnRez.

Connie and I are getting excited - well ok, I’m getting excited and I’m pretty sure Connie is too! Our Fashion Show is TONIGHT at 6pm SLT! We’ve rehearsed (yes, I NEED rehearsals to walk in a straight line! If you don’t believe me, ask Connie lol), decided on what we’re wearing and been given some great tips from Jewell and KandieKain of JM Models on how to beat lag. Now it’s time for us to put our Inner Control Freaks aside for a few hours and allow JM to continue the fantastic job they’ve done so far.

They did a wonderful interview with us (separately) and it’s posted here. The pic isn’t of us, it’s of two of the great JM Models - although Connie pointed out that if it had been us, in pose and attitude I would have been the one in red! Very true actually - she has me down pat

Due to the problems in Second Life® today, Jewell Munro of JM Models took the sensible, professional decision to postpone our show until next Friday 11 April at 6pm. Connie and I are in full agreement and are very happy to be working with such a great team as JM

As Connie said on our old AlchemyAngels blog, on Saturday evening JM Models are putting on a fantastic show for us and we’d love to see you there! They’ve produced a wonderful brochure, we’ve both been interviewed (separately!) and we’ll be showing the latest items in our ranges, so it’s going to be a fun evening with maybe some surprises. It starts at 6pm slt and we’re really excited about it and about meeting as many of you as possible. And yes, we will make an appearance at the end, no doubt desperately holding on to each other so if we do fall off the stage, at least we go together!
